OASIS LIFESTYLE OPEN FLOW SHOWER

Oasis Lifestyle Shower Design Mesa Open Floor Shower You'll appreciate Mesa. Your customers will appreciate you. People love the clean look of zero threshold showers. What they don't love are the post-installation issues that exist with current designs such as: poor drainage, bathroom water puddles, and trench residue build-up. Mesa eliminates these issues by delivering the latest in shower floor innovation while allowing for expanded design options. The Waterfall Concept Mesa uses gravity like a waterfall to revolutionize the way water drains from a zero theshold shower. With twin floor panels suspended over a collection pan, water flows over the edges. Each floor panel is contoured to direct water from the standing surface, keeping the flow away from the shower front. Simple Installation. Inspired Versatility. Installing a composite shower pan usually limits the options for tile or stone on the shower floor. SO delivering an integrated look requires additional labor and materials, floor build-up, and waterproofing membranes. The...

NISSAN NV200 MOBILITY TAXI

The Taxi of Tomorrow re-imagines the entire New York taxi system for the 21st century. Tangent Design Group worked in conjunction with BraunAbility, the Indiana-based market leader in wheelchair accessible vehicles and Nissan Motors to rethink, design, and engineer a wheelchair friendly taxi of tomorrow. The Nissan NV200 Mobility Taxi features a rear-entry ramp which eliminates the need for wheelchair users to cross traffic in order to enter or exit the vehicle. The taxi also features an industry-first integrated restraint system providing a safe and quick securement of passengers in wheelchairs.   The Nissan Mobility Taxi looks like and functions like a standard taxi until the mobility functionality is needed. After pulling into a safe space at the curb, the taxi operator flips down the 2nd row seat back and pulls a release handle to tumble the seat forward. Next, after opening the wide rear doors, the operator pulls the fold-flat wheelchair ramp...

BMW CENTER CONSOLE

Invision Automotive, a division of Audiovox OEM Automotive Group, has quickly grown to become the premier manufacturer of Rear Seat Entertainment products to the automotive OEMs and Tier One suppliers.   The BMW center console rear seat entertainment system is the only solution to fully integrate into the center armrest and all but disappears when not in use. This product is available for BMW X1 and X3 vehicles worldwide and is expected to be released in the North American market in the near future.   Our designers were challenged with reducing the overall size and weight of the system. Fully homologated contact surfaces and styling that compliments BMW interiors were a few of the major considerations in developing this product. We were responsible for driving the design from conceptual illustrations all the way through generating the product’s Class A surface....

MOPAR JK-8 JEEP TOP

Design of the Jeep Truck For years loyal Jeep fans have been awaiting a truck version of the Wrangler. Mopar, the performance parts division of Chrysler, decided to do just that and created a Jeep truck conversion kit. The kit can be retrofitted on any 2011 or newer Jeep either by a dealer, customization shop, or by the end user.   Tangent’s role in the kit project was to reproduce the hard top for the passenger compartment utilizing the same assembly technique as the OEM factory hard top. It also needed to be compatible with the factory Freedom tops that were also packaged with the kit. Working with Mopar engineering, Tangent designers were able to obtain the OEM top CAD data and use it as a starting point for generating the new top. Tangent was able to create the new top Class A CAD data and work with the supplier to make sure it...
