JAYCO TERRAIN

Jayco Terrain B Class, A Style. [qodef_separator type="full-width" border_style="dotted" thickness="2"] Tangent partnered with Elkhart based RV manufacturer Jayco to design, develop and model interior parts for Jayco’s latest foray into the world of Class B camper vans. Riding on a lifted Mercedes Sprinter van chassis, the Terrain, an off-road capable camper van features a more rugged and durable interior, designed to withstand the active outdoor lifestyle of its users. [qodef_separator type="full-width" border_style="dotted" thickness="2"]Tangent was tasked with developing a host of interior panels for the Terrain’s cabin, including window, door, and side panels featuring built in storage compartments, as well the Terrain’s compact, multi-function shower / latrine station. PREMIER MARINE PINNACLE HELM

Premier Marine Pinnacle Helm Top of the line. Premier Marine, a leading manufacturer of recreational pontoon boats, partnered up with Tangent to design and develop the Pinnacle Helm, Premier’s top of the line marine helm.Beginning with a rigorous 2D process, Tangent produced multiple concepts and refinements before choosing a 2D theme that represented the client’s vision for a top-tier helm. Tangent worked to incorporate numerous automotive style features into the helm’s design, including a 12-inch Simrad display, wireless charging, and leather wrapped storage spaces with LED accent lighting. Additional helm features included a cooled cup holder and billet accents that highlight the helm’s premium feel.After creating 2D sketches, Tangent began modeling the helm in Alias, a 3D CAD software, that allows Tangent to build production ready parts for clients and their suppliers. HARLEY DAVIDSON x TUSCANY MOTOR CO. Harley expands its footprint. With Harley-Davidson having severed official ties with Ford after years of exclusively licensing the Harley name, Harley, in partnership with Tuscany Motor Co., have expanded their brand of officially licensed HD products to the General Motors truck family, namely the top of the line GMC Sierra.Tangent once again teamed up with Elkhart truck outfitter Tuscany Motor Co. and Milwaukee based motorcycle builder Harley-Davidson to design, and develop HD’s latest foray into the land of four wheels. The 2020 HD Sierra contains more than 65 custom changes over the standard Sierra. Amara by G3 Boats Taking Fiberglass to the Next Level Tangent and G3 Boats (Yamaha) teamed up to design and develop the all-new for 2020 Amara fiberglass pontoon boat. Tangent was tasked with the development of both the interior and exterior of the Amara pontoon, from 2D concept sketches all the way to finished mold ready 3D parts. This extensive list of developed parts includes exterior fiberglass and thermoformed apertures as well as driver and passenger helm consoles, bimini tower, seat architecture and upholstery, billet grab handles and accents, rear lounges and more.Recognizing fiberglass pontoon boat’s growing market share, as well as Tangent’s considerable experience in the development of fiberglass products, G3 Boats reached out to Tangent to help create a new market leader in the fiberglass segment. HARLEY DAVIDSON FORD F150

HARLEY DAVIDSON x TUSCANY MOTOR CO. Harley returns to four wheels. Tangent together with iconic motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson and premium truck up-fitter Tuscany Motor Co., teamed up to develop the 2019 Harley Davidson Ford F150. Tangent’s responsibilities included the design and development of over 70 proprietary parts, as well the creation of marketing material, and project coordination between Harley and Tuscany Motor Co. Inspired by Harley’s rich heritage, as well as the iconic HD F150’s of the past, Tangent was tasked with the development of a multitude of custom parts, meant to set the 2019 HD F-150 apart from the pack. Duo Form Pet B&B Bed & Bark-fast. Tangent recently partnered with Duo Form Plastics, an industry leading thermoform manufacturer, to design, develop and model the Duo Form Go Pet B&B (Bed & Breakfast), a first of its kind portable pet bed, with built-in storage compartments and removable food & water dishes. BLUE 9 PROPEL AIR PLATFORM

Blue-9 Propel Air Platform An air platform for Air Bud. Tangent recently partnered with Blue-9 Pet Products, an industry leader in dog training equipment, to design, develop and model the Blue-9 Propel Air Platfrom, a connective inflatable training platform with molded in guidelines for all forms of training and fitness.Beginning with extensive benchmarking, Tangent was careful to ensure that the Propel Air Platform would work in conjunction with other Blue-9 products, including the Tangent designed Blue-9 Klimb Platform. Utilizing a combination of blow molded and compression molded plastic, the platform incorporates a double-sided tread pattern that differs on each side, allowing for flexibility in training methods, and dog size. EMERY ONE eBIKE

EMERY ONE eBIKE The world’s first 3D-printed eBike The Emery ONE was developed by a collaboration of Franco Bicycles, Arevo, and Bosch and is intended to disrupt the way bicycles are traditionally manufactured via 3D printing. “We were drawn to Arevo’s 3D printing process for the ability to quickly iterate and prove out concepts during product development, the onshoring of manufacturing to California, and the increased speed with which we can bring products to market,” says Hector Rodriguez, co-founder and CEO of Franco Bicycles and Emery. “But while all those benefits matter, the most important benefit is that the bike performs at a world-class level.
