Avalon Geofish Functional Thinking. Tangent and frequent collaborator Avalon Pontoons recently partnered up to create Avalon’s striking new foray into the fish boat segment: The Avalon Geofish.Eschewing traditional pontoon styling, Tangent worked with Avalon to create a wholly unique layout and aesthetic framework for this function focused boat. Roto to the Core. The Geofish’s rotationally molded bow pods are the standout on a boat that’s all business. Combining high style, and built in color that doesn’t fade, the bow pods supply storage features and dock lighting elements, while capping the Geofish’s traditional aluminum side walls.In addition to roto pods on the bow and stern, Tangent utilized the roto molding process for the Geofish’s unique center mounted helm, adding a built-in level of durability and function to the do-everything center counsel. Avalon Aura Revolution Via Rotational Molding. The Avalon Aura represents a new first in the pontoon industry. Designed and developed in house by Tangent, the Aura is the world’s first rotationally molded modular pontoon.With over a decade of experience in the Marine Industry, Tangent and its talented design team went looking for new and innovative solutions to some of the Marine Industry’s most glaring problems. At the top of this list, was the development of a low cost, easy to assemble, entry level pontoon that was high on style and functionality. SHELBY AMERICAN 2024 BAJA RAPTOR

2024 Shelby Baja Raptor Leaner and meaner. Tangent together with iconic performance manufacturer Shelby and Elkhart based premium truck up-fitter Tuscany Motor Co., teamed up to design & develop the 2024 Shelby Baja Raptor, the latest offering in a long line of Shelby performance trucks. Tangent’s responsibilities included the design and development of numerous proprietary parts, including an injection molded grille with accents, metal fab front and rear bumpers, and a custom chase rack.Inspired by Shelby’s rich racing and performance heritage, as well as previous collaborations between Tangent and Shelby, Tangent worked with Shelby and Tuscany to push this latest iteration of the Baja Raptor to its functional and aesthetic limits. 2024 SHELBY F-150 More is more. Tangent together with iconic performance manufacturer Shelby and Elkhart based premium truck up-fitter Tuscany Motor Co., teamed up to design & develop the 2024 Shelby F-150, Shelby’s latest foray into the performance truck market. Tangent’s responsibilities included the design and development of numerous proprietary parts, including an injection molded grille, and the most ambitious front bumper assembly of any Shelby vehicle to date.Inspired by Shelby’s rich racing and performance heritage, as well as previous collaborations between Tangent and Shelby, Tangent set about raising the bar on this year’s refreshed F-150 model. 2024 Shelby Super Snake Making The Leap Tangent once again partnered with Shelby American Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI:PK), to design and develop the all new 2024 Shelby Super Snake. Based on the all-new body style Ford Mustang, the Shelby Super Snake features a whole host of functional racing components and exterior styling features designed to convey Shelby’s rich racing heritage and high-performance aspirations for this generation Super Snake. HARLEY DAVIDSON F250

HARLEY-DAVIDSON F-250 HD’s Boldest Expression Yet. Tangent once again teamed up with iconic motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson and Elkhart based premium truck up-fitter Tuscany Motor Co. to design and develop the 2023 Harley Davidson F-250, the latest collaboration between Tangent, Tuscany, and Harley to date. Tangent’s responsibilities included the design and development of over 60 proprietary parts, as well as the creation of marketing material, and project coordination between the Harley and Tuscany teams.Inspired by Harley’s rich heritage, and the rousing success of the first-generation HD F-250, Tangent worked closely with the Harley and Tuscany teams to design a truck that would be bolder than the previous generation. Shelby F-250 Super Baja Racing meets Rugged. Shelby American Inc., one of the world’s most famous and well-respected automotive performance brands, once again partnered with Tangent, and Tuscany Motor Company, to design and develop the limited edition 2023 Shelby F-250 Super Baja.The new Shelby F-250 Super Baja represents a massive leap forward over the outgoing model, adding numerous new and custom features, including a new grille, functional hood and fender vent, chase rack, off-road bumper, and custom lighting features.Shelby, in conjunction with Tuscany Motor Co., tasked Tangent with the design and development of all the Super Baja’s custom exterior features from 2D sketch concepts to final 3D tool ready parts. AVALON EXCALIBUR

Avalon Excalibur A Carbon Fiber First. Tangent recently partnered with frequent collaborator Avalon Pontoon Boats, to design and develop the all-new Excalibur pontoon, with an industry first carbon-fiber exterior wall system. Tangent was asked to completely re-think the previous Excalibur and its aluminum sidewall construction, carrying over only two exterior accent pieces from the original design. With a full carbon-fiber pallet in hand, Tangent developed a distinctive and luxurious pontoon that perfectly reflects Avalon’s heritage of clean lines and classic forms.Starting with the previous Excalibur’s layout and thermo-form exterior accent pieces, Tangent set about designing a carbon-fiber bodied solution that would introduce more volume, and luxurious 3D forms, to what was once a flat-aluminum side wall exterior. Working first to develop and refine these themes in 2D, Tangent then took to Autodesk Alias to further develop the chosen theme in a Class-A surfacing software, ensuring an automotive level fit and finish. Godfrey XP Pontoon purity. Godfrey Pontoon and Tangent recently collaborated on Godfrey’s highest level XP series pontoon and helm, delivering a bold and progressive new design direction for Godfrey’s top tier of boats.Blending automotive style exterior fiberglass and aluminum side walls, the Godfrey XP series represents the next generation of Godfrey luxury pontoons. The XP’s helm makes use of multiple touch screen interfaces, digital gauges, and wrapped parts to provide a top-of-the-line user experience worthy of the XP’s luxurious aspirations.Tangent was tasked with the 3D development and refinement of the XP’s front (bow) fiberglass pod, and helm assembly, including multiple thermo-formed, and leather wrapped high density foam parts.Tangent worked in close collaboration with Godfrey’s design team, to create refined surfaces in 3D CAD software, making sure to use our in-house VR set up to evaluate surfaces along the way.
